Why A Second Residency

A considered Plan-B for the people who matter most.

For successful families, a Malaysian residency is rarely about leaving home. It is about widening the ground beneath your feet — a calm second base in Asia that keeps your options, and your family’s, firmly your own.

A secure Plan-B, without giving up home

Establish a stable foothold in a politically steady, business-friendly country — while keeping your existing home, citizenship and ties exactly as they are.

World-class education for your children

Open the door to Malaysia’s international and British-curriculum schools and universities, with English widely spoken and fees a fraction of the West.

Diversify your assets and your lifestyle

Hold property, bank locally and base part of your wealth and life in a low-tax, low-cost hub with a refined, cosmopolitan standard of living.

Mobility, freedom and family security

A long-horizon pass that lets the whole family come and go freely — peace of mind that travels with you, for decades.

The Programme

A residency that lives the way you do.

No minimum stay

Keep your base anywhere — there is no requirement to physically reside in Malaysia.

No age limit

Open to principal applicants of any age who meet the financial criteria.

Work, study & business

Full rights to work, run a business, study and invest within Malaysian law.

Own property

Purchase residential, commercial or industrial real estate.

Bring your family

Questions

The things that matter most.

What is the true total cost?

Three separate amounts: the RM200,000 government participation fee (RM100,000/dependent), a refundable RM1,000,000 fixed deposit held at a Malaysian bank, and our fixed RM65,000 service fee (RM26,000/family member). No hidden charges.

Is my RM1,000,000 deposit safe?

The fixed deposit is held in your name at a licensed Malaysian bank and is refundable in accordance with programme rules.

How long does the whole process take?

Conditional approval is typically reached in approximately 60 working days. The fixed deposit and medical steps follow thereafter. Actual timing varies with individual circumstances and official processing.

Do I have to live in Malaysia?

There is no minimum stay requirement. You are free to decide how much time you spend in the country, without needing to settle there to maintain the pass — one of the reasons PVIP appeals to international families.

Can my children study there?

Yes. Eligible accompanying children may be included as dependents and can attend international or local institutions in Malaysia.

Can I work or run a business in Malaysia?

PVIP holders may undertake business activity and investment in Malaysia. Specific employment and operating arrangements are subject to the applicable rules, which we explain in detail during your consultation.

What if my application is not approved?

We pre-screen thoroughly before submission to maximise certainty, and guide you transparently on every requirement before any government fee is committed.

Will my affairs be kept confidential?

Absolutely. Discretion is central to our service; your information and family affairs are handled with complete confidentiality.
